Most of the negative reviews were due to the fact that the sections for PENS were too high. Every time I read one of these, I knew it was just what I needed. Art brushes with fine handles are great for all areas. My brushes are thicker and taller in the middle and shorter on the sides, flat on one side and round on the other. Shorter brushes are still higher than the handles. I used the flat backtrays for the cotton balls and cotton swabs that I use all the time for my acrylic paints. This freed up and consolidated a lot of space taken up by multiple banks on my desk/desktop. The twist was easy. I know some people have had trouble with this, but mine spins fine.
