I gave two of these in two shades of pink to two sisters aged four and six. As soon as they saw the banks pull their paper money into the slot and that they could open it with a secret combination, they were just stunned! They took money in and out the whole time I was there. The older girl was delighted to be able to change the combination to a number her father didn't recognize and burst out laughing at his unsuccessful attempts. (One four-year-old girl had trouble grasping the combination concept (age 5+ is recommended), so she left the default 0000 combination.) At the end of the evening, both girls ran to the bed triumphantly with their cans! Great success! By the way, both banks are already set to beep when you enter the code. The voice option seemed preferable and not too loud or intrusive.
