Waste of money. When the product is sold, the FX6 filter will no longer work. Looks like the impeller is stuck. This kept happening after multiple attempts to reinstall as a pair. I don't know why, but it sucks the way it is. When the impeller stopped working at night, it created enough pressure in the canister to force the water to flow out of the unit over all sealing areas. I used the impeller in my old case with no problems. Since it has been 30 days since I decided to use the surplus motor, neither Fluval customer service nor the seller nor Revain have helped me. I ended up just donating money for a faulty product and wasting my time. Also, I was offended by the support team who believed I didn't know how to clean the filter and told me what I was experiencing was impossible even after 20 years. Plus as an amateur. Smh Highly recommend, just go to your local fish store and buy a $75 impeller instead of this complete unit. Negative stars would be possible, I would give five.
