I don't write reviews but like someone else said in a previous review, this light is insanely bright. On the street near where I work on Sanibel Island, Florida where there are no street lights, these are 9 tenths of a mile down my tricky GPS stop sign on West Golf Drive, with this light on high beam I can see the sign clearly. I would rather buy the headlamp and battery separately than a kit because I will never use a GoPro mount. I've been buying light eye products for a few years now and there is literally nobody who offers better customer service than these guys and when they say they guarantee lifetime light they mean lifetime light and if you haven't broken it In the event of an accident, they replace it, no questions asked. I will be buying the 1600 model for my grandson because you can only buy the light and battery.
