Sturdy without being heavy. Also, somehow they got the tension just right and you can open it one-handed yet I had absolutely nothing fall after it was clipped. Again, the clips open easily one-handed which matters if you’re holding a piece of laundry. I saw a review were they said the angle was difficult to open the clip but I found that if you have the hanger hanging, the angle is just right for one-handed opening when you come at the hanger more from the top.Clips won’t rust.No pinch marks.Quality product. By the way, I did use this for socks and undies but also hung heavier pajama pants etc. and it worked great.
