Etnies don't have to prove anything when it comes to skateboard shoe design: - Material is nail proof, doesn't wear out quickly - Straps are a great addition if you don't I don't like high tops, but I do like good care - the outsole is incredibly grippy (great for board control) - the cushioning is on par with the outsoles I typically use (footprint) - skaters who want a tight board feel may not like them as they are quite soft but I don't like vulc or thin skate shoes myself so naturally I tend towards those designs. This shoe has it all, plus I'm a personal fan of Chris Joslin.
