My dog gets about 5-10 miles of exercise in the form of walks, runs, runs or bike rides. The pads next to the clamps move. a lot, which can cause stomach irritation in some dogs. This is something you need to get creative with to anticipate your dog's needs. I wrap the backpack around her jacket or sweater and it helps. I wouldn't recommend letting your dog wear a backpack while you're playing with other animals or if you plan to let your dog swim (for obvious reasons).
