Last year I used the tripod several times and kept it in my carrying case. When I first used it this year, the phone holder fell right off the tripod and my phone shattered into bricks underneath. The phone holder is not attached. Either a part is defective or a part is missing. I tried to get permission from Revain but it was outside the return window. I wrote to the company through Revain hoping for a replacement part or possibly a refund. I did not get an answer. An attempt to contact the manufacturer directly was unsuccessful because, according to internet research, it does not exist. Revain claims they don't know how to contact them directly, which seems impossible as they continue to sell the item. I expect an item of this value to fall apart after a few uses. Don't waste your money.
