As a mother of two young boys, I always struggle to find winter hats that are warm enough to survive the low temperatures, but fun and cute enough to convince them to wear them. When I stumbled across the Newfancy Kids Toddler Winter Hat with Warm Fleece Lined Knit Ear Hat for Boys and Girls, I was intrigued by the monstrous design and fleece lining. Overall I would give this hat 3 stars. Although the design is adorable and my kids loved it, I felt the sizing was a bit off. The hat is advertised as suitable for ages 2-8 but it was too big for my 2 year old and too small for my 6 year old. Even though the fleece lining makes the hat warmer, I've found that my boys' heads sweat too much after wearing it for a long time. On the plus side, the hat is very well made and will hold up well throughout the winter. The monster design is also well received by children and we have received many compliments. Finally, the ear buds are a nice touch and helped keep my boys warm on particularly windy days. All in all, I would recommend the Newfancy Kids Toddler Winter Fleece Lined Knitted Warm Ear Cap Hat for boys and girls, with the caveat that parents need to be aware of the size and potential for head sweating. With a few adjustments, it could become a must-have winter accessory for kids.
