Update: If you pinched your toe while unboxing, we've probably found the wrong foot. Looking more closely at the design, the pinch hazard I mentioned is reduced by the piano-style hinge limiting flex in that area. This construction also increases resilience, although "durable" is not an adjective I would associate with any folding device without a locking system. It still seems overpriced but it's better than the 2 star rating I originally gave. It also flexes enough when stepped on to create a potential barefoot pinch point where the surfaces meet in the middle. It can handle 250# as advertised, but I wouldn't want to test that, especially if it's not on a flat surface. Overall, I'd guess it would sell in the $10-$12 range rather than double that. BTW the height is 5 inches as stated in the title, not 4 inches as stated in the first pool.
