Review on Ergotron LX Single Monitor Arm - VESA Wall Mount for Monitors Up to 34 Inches, 7-25 lbs - Polished Aluminum by Ricky Lahoti

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly limited positioning - the wall stand doesn't align properly with my desk.

A solid unit that I was able to easily assemble with a set of 3/8" socket wrenches. Workspace. If I orient the monitor so it's close to the wall so it's 3ft from my seat then the monitor is flush with the wall and there is exactly 1 arch it can sit on. If it's the right height for me, the monitor will sit 6" to the left of my desk's built-in keyboard drawer. If I move the monitor away from the wall to give my arm some left/right flexibility, I can center the monitor on the keyboard drawer, but now it's 18" from the wall, so I have to reset 18". -- On I can't reach my keyboard at this point You might think you could make a lot of adjustments with this lever, but since you have to mount it on a wall, there's actually very little room for adjustment gene. If you can move your table, great. However, if your table is in a fixed position, you may be out of luck.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Hard to say
