We ended up buying two of these (one for our bedroom and one for the kids room). I like four different settings. The night light is a great feature, but I like that it's optional. We don't use this all the time, but it's useful when needed. It lasts all night on the first setting, most of the night on the last setting. We need to add water when we wake up to feed. The downside is the sound. It's mostly silent, but makes a chugging noise when the base fills with water. I'm a light sleeper so he often wakes me up. It was a 4 star rating but after 8 months I had to throw away both devices. The inside cannot be cleaned. Despite cleaning the outside, dirt still clung to the lids. I no longer feel safe working with either of them. I really liked this product but they need a way to clean the inside of the tank.
