I ordered a 15 lb duvet according to the weight guidelines. I suffer from frequent insomnia and general restlessness. I found it helped me sleep through the night. I hate sleeping alone and it felt like a nice, warm hug - maybe TOO warm. The next day I woke up drenched in sweat. It may take some getting used to, but I also experienced some body aches - I don't know if it's related to the constant weight/pressure on my body or not. It also smells strongly of chemicals. I was not feeling well. I love how it feels when I'm securely wrapped in it (like a small child wrapped tightly), but I can't pull the blanket over my chest without feeling nauseous from the smell.
