I really like these shoes but with two caveats. First, good. Very comfortable, light, breathable and just a great hiking shoe. This is probably one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Now for the bad. They're terrible in the rain. Step into a shallow puddle yourself and your feet will instantly get wet. With the exception of the sole, they are mostly made entirely of mesh. Worse, once they get wet they smell horribly of leather, mildew, feet and rot. Worse, they breathe so well that if you put them on and wear them a little, you and everyone around you can smell them. This is my 3rd pair of Skechers and 2 out of 3 had this issue. 3. new. Washed in the washing machine, frozen in the freezer, tried sprays. No dice. I just tried to get enough of a natural wonder and the results seem promising.
