The whole star was painted because when assembling the table I realized that it wasn't the color I ordered. I ordered mostly brown with a black center but got one that is all black with a brown center. I won't ask for a refund because then I have to disassemble and repackage the table again and that's too much work. So I have to accept that this is not what I ordered. He still looks good. There were some difficulties in assembling; Some screws were very difficult to tighten and required a lot of force. I was glad, however, that the tool kit included an actual mini screwdriver and not one of those L-shaped things that are the hardest to build with. Overall, the table makes a robust and durable impression. A few dents and dents were already present upon unpacking. But fortunately all these places are hidden. Good price, would order again; but be sure to look at the box and not assume it is correct.
