Review on Camera Nikon 1 J1 Kit 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 VR, white/black by Adam Komosa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Now more. Thanks to the 1" (13.2 x 8.8 mm) sensor and very smart internals, the quality of your photos is comparable to that of a SLR camera. In terms of weight and dimensions - heaven and earth (after this baby, I somehow don’t want to carry a DSLR with me at all). I would like a more universal type of mount, for example, the same Nikon F, but on the other hand, this is not so critical. After several years of use, the whale lens began to act up - I called the Nikon service department, the lens went on an excursion to Hong Kong. Replaced spare part "2nd LENS-G UNIT 2nd lens group 1F999-181". How much do you think the repair cost? By the way, the warranty has expired. Everything was done for free. Including express delivery by a transport company. They also gave a six month guarantee. Recognized as a typical malfunction. You know, my worldview has even changed after this incident . Now the model has apparently already been discontinued, but I'm sure the new analogues from Nikon will not disappoint either. It's a Nikon after all! I am sure that even at the moment this camera is still underestimated by both ordinary users and advanced photographers.

Pros
  • Let me first state that I am not a professional photographer. And so I do not pretend to be an expert. But what I liked about the Nikon J1 camera, as well as the Nikon S1, by the way (I have two of them and they differ little, mainly with whale lenses): - fantastic photo and video quality (I also worked with very expensive Nikon SLR cameras and did not see any significant difference); - the dimensions of both the lens and the carcass itself; - Nikon's attitude (more on that below);
Cons
  • Wear with a neck strap only. Otherwise, you can drop. The camera itself is smaller than the lens and therefore strives to escape from the hands.
