I don't know why the previous reviewer was mistaken about this being a knitting book as the title even says it's about creative spinning but that suggests even the best Books can be totally misunderstood. Because of this? Absolutely one of, if not the BEST, best books on synthetic yarn and fiber spinning, pushing the boundaries of what counts as "handspun yarn". With 30 illustrated techniques and an equal number of patterns that can be knitted, crocheted, or sewn using the yarn you create, this is both inspirational and informative. In fact, THREE HUNDRED PAGES of inspiration. What I like most about her is that not only can this book be viewed and possibly used to rotate or create objects, but it is also a book to sit in and READ. There's a great section on how to find inspiration for your rotation inside and outside of yourself, as well as one on reverse engineering projects that got me into riding the bike. The profiles of synthetic yarn spinners are also a pleasure to read. If you're a strict knitter/knitter/weaver, you probably won't enjoy this book much unless you're one of the few who uses a lot of synthetic yarn. in your craft.
