I really like this cover. It's metal and looks better than new. The end has room for the included strap instead of a thin ring that could break. The keychain that comes with the kit is in the shape of a carabiner and it's too difficult to attach the keys to it. This is great for attaching other keys to it in a different ring. Then you can easily remove them if necessary without removing the key from the ignition. Useful for unlocking the glove box or Tuffy console. The ring is also suitable for attachment to a belt loop or backpack. I checked if the range has decreased. 5 or 10 feet max. I'm fine with that. The two pieces connect together using the tabs on the end of the wrench and then a screw on the end of the strap. They include an Allen key that is needed to tighten the screw.
