My students love using their imaginations to create "STEAM "

I was lucky enough to get this set through a donorschoose project. My students love using their imaginations to create "STEAM". There are no hot parts to these which is great. The only downside is the filament. It has to be 3mm and almost every 3rd party filament is 1.75mm. So 3Doodle has a corner on the market with this and I must purchase from them. Which can be pricy. On the bright side, this is the only pen I have found with no hot parts. I teach intellectually disabled students so this was the deal breaker. Overall very nice product.

Pros
  • Creativity: The X6 3D Printing Pen allows students to explore their creative potential, providing an outlet for artistic expression and experimentation. The pen's easy-to-use design and the wide range of color options provide endless possibilities for students to create unique and imaginative 3D models
Cons
  • The 3D printing pen itself is quite bulky and hard to handle, requiring a lot of hand strength and dexterity to control properly
