Now I use this in place of a pressure cooker. I'm in control of the temperature, not some program on a number pad that's hard to read and doesn't tell me what temperature I'm cooking at. I hate it and it's nice and deep so I can even tuck the chicken in if it gets wet. After browning the roast pork, I turned it on between 200 and warm, about 175, and let it cook. It took about 4 hours. The best roast I've ever made. Tender, fell apart, didn't dry out. Very easy. I ended up using computer controlled pots. This is my choice and I've used it every night except 2 since I got it. Excellent purchase. The temptation to get another one to keep as a backup if needed. Also big enough to cook once, eat twice for both of us. Place on a flat grill and also steam or bake in it. Good versatile tool. Yes, I feel so good.
