I'm new to metal casting and wanted to add something to protect against splashes or heat. I got stuck between this and a large apron and finally settled on this one. I'm 188cm tall and I bought the 52" version - the bib fits almost to my shoulders and the legs come down to my ankles. around the front of the leg instead of slicing at the back and everything is fine, the heat of my oven didn't bother me with that and on my workbench I didn't even notice the sparks from my cutting tool. I only gave them a 4 for durability because I haven't used them enough to know for sure. Although it seems they should hold out. For me they were very comfortable and not too heavy. I still enjoy cooking for the squad and when this Covid thing is over and we can camp again I will definitely be buying another Dutch Oven cook set.
