Review on 🚗 Class 3 Trailer Hitch with 2-Inch Receiver for BMW X3 – CURT 13387 by Eddy Borghesi

I bought this for my 2018 BMW X3. When I opened the box it looked beautiful. However, when I installed it, I had a nightmare. I noticed that it is very poorly constructed. As another person reported, the work required to get the exhaust hangers to work is nearly impossible. The passenger side exhaust pipe mounting is far removed from the original mounting point. On the driver's side you need to remove the pin from the part of the BMW bumper. But she was welded. So I refused to remove this hairpin. Another problem is that although I was able to remove the original bolt, there is no room for the exhaust rubber hanger. And also the suspension height of driver side and passenger side is different by １/3 inch. For these reasons I decided to cut out the bottom reinforcement. This allows me to use the original extendable hanger. And it made the installation much easier. Cutting out the lower side reinforcement may reduce the strength of this hitch. But for me there is no other way. Even if I cut off the gain, it seems stronger than other companies' products. pull my trailer.
