Remotes solve 10 year problem

I'm very, very happy with the remotes for the nine overhead lights on my porch and outside. The lights were oddly matched to the three light switches scattered across the porch. The two lanterns closest to the entrance of the house were on two different switches, once turned off they had to return in the dark. A switch controlled both the interior dome light and the motion sensor outside, meaning the interior light had to be on at all times for the motion sensor to work. Frustrating, dangerous and waste of energy. The hardest parts of the process were going up and down the stairs and figuring out which switches controlled which devices. Installing the remotes themselves couldn't be easier! I simply unscrewed the base, screwed in the bulb and pressed the "ON" button on the remote control. No programming is required, although there are clear instructions on how to change the programming if required. There are light switches all over my large porch, but now I can control all the lights from the narrow cutting board I placed them on. (See photo. I put a regular pen on the board to show the size.) If I want I can remove the washer from the magnet base to put it somewhere else, but most of the time the board hangs near the stairs that leads to the house . All three light switches are on and the remotes control everything. Remote controls solved a 10 year old problem and frustration caused by an installer's idea of how to match lights to switches. (I often wonder how much beer was involved.)
