We wanted to like it, but unfortunately we weren't very satisfied. My 8 year old daughter has wanted her own lava lamp for a long time. When I saw this I thought it would be a fun experience for her as she could make her own. Firstly, as soon as we took it out of the box we realized that it was very cheaply made. Very thin. She enjoyed collecting and making it, but as soon as we installed it in her room, she asked me to remove it because it was too noisy. We wanted it to be a night light but she doesn't want it in her room. She says it's scarier than just the darkness inside. So first in the kitchen. She really liked the look of the stickers, but once she tried to peel them off the backing, they wouldn't come off. I think maybe it's the heat? I do not know. However, they did not detach from the ground, but remained hanging. Nothing I would really recommend. But it was fun to let them gather.
