I ordered these for my son. He says: These shoes are incredible. I wear them barefoot; Socks are not required. They are very comfortable. They are flexible yet protect your feet. They actually have some arch support as their soles are shaped to fit the parts of your feet that need to support weight on them. The fabric is breathable and the antimicrobial lining (which should be advertised better) keeps them from smelling. (Plus, they're washable.) They're so well constructed that, as far as I can tell, they could actually be adjusted to fit my feet. They fit like a glove. I feel compelled to correct what some reviewers have said about the size difference on the latest Vibram models. I have the original KSO EVO from Vibram (bought almost ten years ago) in 10.5-11. On the advice of several reviewers, I increased the size to 11-11.5. I had to return them; they were too big. I ordered them the same size as my original vibes and they fit perfectly. So the size has _not_ changed. As the owner of the original and this same size model, purchased several years apart, I can vouch that these reviewers are simply wrong. (Maybe her feet have grown by now?) If you're looking for sandals - shoes that make you feel like you're not wearing shoes but still protect your soles - you won't find anything better. I'm used to walking barefoot most of the time (I'm kind of a couch potato) so this is a godsend. Finally a shoe that doesn't suffocate my feet and doesn't even need socks! Farewell, slippers that seem to tie wooden planks to my feet (oops). Now all my muscles can do what they were designed to do. I am a firm believer that >90% of foot pain is actually caused by shoes and not relieved. YMMV, but that's my experience and a growing body of research backs it up. Do yourself a favour: free your legs. let them breathe; Let all the tiny muscles inside naturally adjust to where you stand and how you walk. As a result, these underused muscles are strengthened and leg pain is a thing of the past.
