After losing my keys last week, I bought a Tile Pro and attached it to my new kit. I found activating it from my phone to be a bit inconsistent in my apartment, but I trusted it would do the job if my keys were ever lost at home. Two days later, I wake up to find the tile is no longer attached to my keychain. The app tells me he was last seen 8 hours ago near my last night. I've set the tile to "lost" and searched for its last known location to no avail. I ride a bike so I think if it fell off while I was moving it was probably damaged by traffic. I don't know how the tile came off. The rest of my key fob is intact and there are no other keys. Maybe he'll show up and I can find out. However, I don't see myself buying anything like this again. For the price I could make several sets of spare keys to keep in my pocket and at home. I feel a bit silly not to do this instead of buying the tile in the first place. For most users, I would suggest that proactively copying your keys is cheap and a reliable solution to lost keys when purchasing a tile. only gives you a chance to recover. I wouldn't recommend a bluetooth tracker unless Your keys can be duplicated cheaply. I feel a bit silly not to do this instead of buying the tile in the first place.
