This is indeed a FreeSync PLS 75Hz panel (including 1440p) which is perfect for photo editing and gaming if you're not one of those 1ms 144Hz types. Excellent quality materials and no glare, surprising because it is one of the cheapest IPS/PLS 1440p panels, the colors are accurate but it seems that the viewing angle is not 178ΒΊ, maybe a little less than this UPDATE After 1 year of use , horizontal gray lines appeared on the left side of the monitor with an almost entirely black one that most people might not even notice it's there. I tried to contact HP on their website because the warranty is 1 year and I had 1 month left but the website said it expired in January just 3 months after I bought it. So I called them and they solved the problem very quickly just by taking a screenshot of my Amazon order. Now I am returning my monitor and they will send me a new one for free. I was very lucky that the warranty was still valid. I don't want to think about what would happen if my problems started a month after the warranty expired. .Update: Got a replacement, unfortunately this new one is bleeding too much from the backlight and I am in the process of replacing it again.
