A way to promote your business, offer less and pay the same price

I bought this product to combine with the Edge CTS programmer. Although I read some reviews that complained about the high price, I thought the quality made up for it. I was wrong. Edge Products' website, and even the packaging, states that this camera has parking guides. It is not. I called Edge support to inquire about this and was told very matter-of-factly that "the new ones don't have parking guidelines". When I asked why the box and website said so, he replied "Probably to save money on the manual." Not a great way to retain a customer who paid full price for a rear camera. It didn't seem to bother him that it didn't match the specs on Edge's website, especially given the premium price point. "Plus: the frame and camera feel well made. The view is truly 170 degrees and very clear. Colors are reproduced exactly. Definitely a good rear camera in terms of clarity. The cable has integrated power, video and grounding so it is very easy to route through the car/frame and install. A plug connects to the camera mount, power connects to the fuse adapter (included), you connect ground, and connect the video cable to the monitor. Cons: As mentioned, newer cameras don't have parking guidelines. Fastening material begins to rust after a week. Since you can buy a comparable camera with more features for less than half the price elsewhere, this product is very imperfect. While the one-piece cable is a plus, the downside is that with the ignition on, the camera is constantly powered (if you follow the included instructions). I'm not sure how long the camera stays on all the time. This allows you to view the camera at any time (not just backwards) if your monitor supports this feature. I think it would be handy for a front camera.
