This is the fourth TV wall mount I've bought in the last few years, so I'm familiar with it. Other than that, the installation wasn't too difficult, but it certainly wasn't easy. My biggest concern is the screws you have to use to attach the TV to the bracket. I had to use the spacers provided to give myself enough clearance behind the TV to tighten these screws. The problem was that you couldn't move the TV too far away from the wall or you wouldn't be able to get the screws behind the mount to make it safe. I struggled perhaps more than usual with the less willing helper who complained throughout the process. The socket dimensions given were either wrong or I got the wrong bolts, we had to use pliers to tighten them. We also figured out why our house isn't level anymore, but only after we drilled holes and hung the TV. Thank goodness for patches and paint! Personally I wouldn't buy this mount again, there are others that don't need help installing them, but the price might sway you as much as it did me. I refuse to spend a lot of money on a standard wall mount.
