Review on Detachable Microphone Replacement Compatible with Kingston HyperX Cloud Mix Wired Gaming Headsets - Noise Cancelling 3.5mm Jack Boom for Computer PC by Cheska Perry

Poor Installation = Poor Performance

After I got my second replacement microphone, I was still having trouble using it. The first didn't work at all. The second works intermittently, but loses connection easily. The fit of this mic isn't perfect and I think that's the problem. This is the right mic for my headset, but it's very difficult to get it to work. You have to put it in the headset and then move it sometimes. The slightest shake or touch can cause it to stop working and create an annoying noise that other players in the game or in the group can hear. I've basically given up using a headset with this mic. My old original mic with all its issues still works better than these replacements. Back to using my Astros.
