Received this week. I live in the cold Northeast and we are covered in snow. Salt, gravel, sand and snow have been piling up on the old wooden floor in my apartment for a few weeks. I won't lie, mopping the floor every time we go in won't work. I started looking for shoe racks, thinking I'd buy one of those wide ones that hold two pairs at a time. To be honest, these wide shoe racks are not suitable for our apartment under 600 square meters. ft. In addition, we have at least two pairs of boots that we wear regularly. It would be a lot easier if each shoe had its own tray that we could place wherever we could find a place for it. We've used them for a few days and they're perfect. My husband's size 12 Columbia Bugaboot winter boots fit with plenty of room. My also. Other pairs are less bulky so I'm sure they will be fine. Another advantage is that the used shells can simply be stacked on top of each other and taken outside to dispose of the bits that fall off the shoes. In addition, they are easy to wash out. Plastic is not very durable, not like a dining room tray. They don't use them for sledding. But for what they are sold they are effective and a good value.
