Review on Upgrade Your Audio Experience with Meze 99 Classics Walnut Silver Wired Over-Ear Headphones with Mic and Self Adjustable Headband by Ba Li ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

In general, the headphones are universal, far from top, but they will bring a lot of pleasant moments to an undemanding listener. I liked the way ROCK sounds, especially for a balanced connection (the necessary ready-made cable was not found right away). Jazz and vocals are also very good. Sound with a bias in the bass, warm. 20 thousand - in my opinion an overpriced price tag, for 11-13 - it is quite possible to try.

Pros
  • Bought the Noir version from Massdrop. Liked the look. Driving sound, good for rock. The middle is predecorated, but in general, without busting. Nice cable included. Sounds good on a portable. Repairable, assembled without glue.
Cons
  • Convenience turned out to be very relative, due to the specific design of the headband (on springs and without fixation), my headphones all the time crawled up, I had to pull them down. Lying to listen is uncomfortable, the metal arc of the headband constantly rested against something. The plugs that are inserted into the headphones must have thin cases, not every cable with standard jacks is suitable for replacement. The sound was expected to be more detailed, clearer, in fact - not enough highs, muddy lows (especially the middle of the bass - powerful and full-bodied, the very bottom, unfortunately, passes), the middle is normal. The scene does not shine with volume, the division of images is also a C grade.
