Review on Seenda Reading Adjustable Brightness Temperature by Megan Johnson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looks good but unreliable

The lightbar was well packaged and out of the box it looked sleek and aesthetically pleasing. But that's where it all ends. Reason for 2 stars. First, the light didn't sync with the remote control out of the box. There were no instructions on how to connect the remote to the lightbar. The next problem I had was that the lights didn't stay at full brightness at the maximum setting after I finally plugged in the remote. I flipped the knob to full brightness, then it blinked and toggled back to low/medium brightness. However, when I unplug the USB and plug it back in, the light comes on at full brightness. find out. But the moment I touch the button or switch color modes, it goes into low light mode and can't reach maximum brightness unless I turn it off and on again. The last problem is that the light doesn't stay off when I hold the remote control. Reach down for a few seconds. At first the light goes out, but after a few seconds it comes on again. I tried holding the button for 5, 10, 15, and 20 seconds but it was inconsistent. I finally managed to turn the light off for more than a few minutes (I don't know how). When I came back the next morning the light was back on. I'm not sure if it was on all night. I ended up unplugging it from the USB port to turn it off. While the light looks very nice on my monitor, it's not reliable at all, especially for the price. I may have gotten a lemon but I do not recommend this product.
