The best part is that I can use it as my own search engine which helps me in getting relevant results from Google for any query without having to go through its interface. It also has various options like 'Add new index' etc., so no need of writing code or learning how to make indexes manually. One thing about web solr was when we tried using it via API integration but then there were some issues regarding authentication (though not technical). So we had to change our approach by going directly though website instead of api. We are solving all problems related to searching/retrieving data within organization at one place now. I like that it is easy for beginners to use as well as advanced users. You can quickly set up your site if needed without having to hire an expert or pay someone else to do so. The cost of hosting could be better but this isn't something we have complained about too much. We are using Solr primarily because it allows us to index our website articles in real time which saves us from manually updating them every day.
