I recently decided to replace my Shadow 5.5s after about 18 months of use and first bought a larger platform printer from another (better known) company. Long story short I ended up returning two of these due to defects and looking for another machine and found a 6.08 (which I didn't see the first time; how new is this printer?) and knew I had found a replacement for my 5.5s. So far I've only used 4 plates on 6.08 Mono (I've only had it 3 days) but I'm very happy with my results. Performance is almost identical to Shadow 5.5, but prints are slightly more detailed and take a lot less time (previously 40-60% on average). So easy to set up, easy to use; Excellent quality prints. And based on previous experiences, I know that I get great service from QIDI when I have technical problems with my printer. similar to the Elegoo setting (as opposed to the Photon style plate used in the Shadow series printers) to simplify plate alignment. I would also add a request for a 4k screen but I'm sure QIDI is already working to get it out there as far as possible.
