Review on National Hardware N260-116 J-Hook: Effortless Picture Frame Hanger, 3 Easy Steps, No Tools Required by Karla Richter

We used about a dozen of the smaller ones (with 10lb and 20lb hooks) to hang a few pictures, and the overall process was easy. Mark it, punch a hole with your tool, insert the hook and transfer the image. I give 3 stars out of 5 because the hook stays far from the wall. For large paintings, paintings etc this might work but for our 5x7, 8x10 and some large paintings the frame was visible from the wall when you hung it on the hook. It just wasn't looking good for us. I ended up shortening the hook and bending it closer to the wall for each picture. You can see in my picture the new hook I'm holding and the one I modified to look good when we used it. These hooks should hold the pictures and still look good. They seem sturdy, easy to hang on the wall and hold pictures well, but aesthetically I can't give them more than 3 out of 5. They just don't look good without modification.
