    Easy to use but not suitable for all locations.

    I can't hang pictures so I was more than happy to try out National Hardware's N260-116 J-Hook Easy Picture Frame Hanger. if I. I like that it's easy to use. The main difficulty is making sure the place I want to hang doesn't have a stud. If so, then this system just doesn't work. A small tool is included to make the first hole. I'm clumsy and the tool is very small so I used a hammer and a small nail to make a small hole. Then the hook is inserted and that's it. After removing it, all I'm left…

    We've just moved and had a lot of wall hangings to hang. These are just perfect for that. No need to carry hammers and other tools. The ends of these hooks are so sharp that they can easily be "poked" directly into the wall by hand. All you have to do is decide where you want the hook and plug it in.     The best way to hang any picture!

    Have been using these hooks for many years. This is the best way to hang a picture as the hole it makes in the wall is tiny and can be filled with white toothpaste if you don't have putty. I've never had photos of them using them and I have heavy and large mirrors on them! If you're hanging something with a wire on the back, it's EASY.     Well done but too far from the wall for small pictures

    We used about a dozen of the smaller ones (with 10lb and 20lb hooks) to hang a few pictures, and the overall process was easy. Mark it, punch a hole with your tool, insert the hook and transfer the image. I give 3 stars out of 5 because the hook stays far from the wall. For large paintings, paintings etc this might work but for our 5x7, 8x10 and some large paintings the frame was visible from the wall when you hung it on the hook. It just wasn't looking good for us.
