Have been using these hooks for many years. This is the best way to hang a picture as the hole it makes in the wall is tiny and can be filled with white toothpaste if you don't have putty. I've never had photos of them using them and I have heavy and large mirrors on them! If you're hanging something with a wire on the back, it's EASY. I had 2 large paintings to hang on the wall side by side and both had wires attached to the frames. I inserted the hooks into the wall plane and centered them correctly, but the length of the wires attached to the frames was different between the two frames, so they didn't hang evenly. I tightened the wire on one of the frames so it hung higher and they were both level. SIMPLE with a tiny hole. There is no better place to hang a picture! No rivets, no screws, no huge holes. the picture is on the wall and hanging for a minute!
