I placed these bulbs in 3 different rooms with different results for each room. I am very happy with the pantry. Which of course is the least used, but it feels as soon as I open the door, so no more trying to find the switch behind the shelves, "conveniently" placed halfway in a 12ft room. . Then I docked in the pantry. The light bulb is hanging on the wall just above the door, and I don't know if there's anything about it that makes the sensor dislike overstimulation, because I can't think of a better word for it, but it doesn't always turn on, even when it does I'm full in the room. Room. And finally the last two light bulbs in the main cabinet. I used to use rechargeable sensor lights that attached to the ceiling with velcro, but charging was a hassle because our ceilings are curved even in the closet. Again, they are not very sensitive and require a lot of waving with the shackle in front of them to get them to turn on. Generally they work as advertised. I'm much happier with the lightbulb I installed in my laundry room, which is a large "garage" lightbulb with 3 adjustable dampers. But it's too light for a closet and 4 times the price.
