Review on Dorman 74437 Sunvisor Clip Replacement: 👍 Secure and Reliable Sun Visor Holder Upgrade by John Castle

The description online, the Revain auto parts reviewer and the box itself says this is a 'straight replacement' for my 1998 Honda CR-V visor clip. It technically works, but it doesn't fit properly. The clip is not as snug on the headliner as it should be, even when properly placed. Also, the clamping gap is a bit too small for the thickness of the sight cylinder it is designed to fit. I was able to lock the visor in the closed position and luckily I don't plan on pulling it out too often. My car is old and I can live with it until I trade it in, but I will not buy another Dorman part.
