My husband used a top quality loincloth to relieve pain in his left thigh. We ordered this "Recovery Sleeve" on the recommendation of his orthopedist. We measured 5 inches above the knee and he was 17 inches tall, which is the top of the "medium" range. He didn't want them to be too tight so we ordered the large. He is perfect. to be harder.
