Purchased to replace some cabinet lights in the kitchen. Three points: the lamp base fits G4, but the light element or lamp itself is slightly larger in length and diameter than my OEM G4 lamps. Luckily I had enough space to put them there. If your fixture is completely flush with your existing bulbs, this may not work for you. The lamp does not provide true 360 degree light coverage. It is made in the form of a printed circuit board with LEDs on both sides. The light is emitted up and down, so you get a noticeable drop in light output at 90 and 270 degrees. I think that with G4 bases most if not all are oriented horizontally so this shouldn't be a problem. As expected, the light produced is closer to 3000k than 2700k. And the bulbs are actually dimmable. The difference between high and low brightness is not as noticeable as with a standard lamp, but there is definitely a difference. That's enough for me. All in all as long as they last this was a good buy. I'll tell you about the durability later.
