Review on Kingston KS8101 Fauceture Vessel Control by Danielle Mitchell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are rare and hard to find, meaning no overflow.

Comes with 2 rubber seals, which is unusual. Several plumbers at the plumbing store scratched their heads about the "double O-ring seal". And this Company states 2 such figures must be assembled under the drain, and these instructions contradict each other. A two-ring gasket on top of each other, a large rubber gasket, makes no sense. Or if it is to be placed under the flange the "top" of the drain pipe, that makes no sense either. Use a gasket with a double ring. You are instructed to use clear silicone and it worked great. I suggest a double coat of silicone (apply first and then another coat after a few minutes) then the drain doesn't flow.Bronze color wasn't perfect for the faucet I bought but it's close enough that no one will ever know better wi approx. The drain assembly that comes with ALL faucets has overflow holes that are h easy o adds serious leak points to the entire system. My sink doesn't have an overflow, but even if I did, I'd probably ignore it and use one. Let's hope this company doesn't go bankrupt as they are rare and hard to find.

Pros
  • Fits sinks with a 1-3/8" drain.
Cons
