I don't understand the good reviews here. I bought it because I wanted the timer function to work even when the internet was down. It worked, but the devices still come back quickly. I ordered four packs because the extra charge was not that big compared to buying two. However, I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi on the first one I took out of the box. I hooked up a second one but the instructions and app are terrible and in broken English. The photos in the app do not match the product. All in all very confusing. The app also gets 1 star. After all, the product is simply cheaply made. We have similar items from TPLINK and Revain and the difference in finish is very, very obvious. The plastic is thin and wafer-thin, metal contacts are visible in the sockets of the plugs. I would be concerned that this is a fire hazard. Since then I have found that the TPLINK add-on product I have fits my needs. I'll stick with them - I'm very happy with TPLINK and Revain's products in this area.
