Review on 🐶 Merrick's Classic Dry Dog Food with Real Meat and Nutritious Grains by Claudia Phipps

Just threw away a new packet of Merrick dog food. The bag arrived on Friday (ordered from Revain) and my dog ate from it once and got sick. I honestly didn't think it was food right away, but now I'm convinced. I fed him from the bag again, but the vomiting and diarrhea persisted. And then it dawned on me, food! This happened another time with the Trader Joe's brand, which they no longer carry. So I started feeding him brown rice and fish, brown rice and chicken, peas and broccoli. He's fine now. I have completely lost faith in the dog food industry. Not to mention Revain, no QC! You support the brand by selling it to your customers. Why not make sure they sell a product that won't make dogs sick? I know many of you have experienced the same thing. I'm writing this review so no one else has to go through the stress, sleepless nights and cleaning up of a sick dog that Merrick DOG cured. FOOD! Revain refunded the money I paid for the meal and both the company and Revain apologized. I think the problem is systemic, companies need to be held accountable or nothing changes.
