These are 100% cotton spools, weight 50 in SPRING colors. They are really beautiful with a silky sheen. I wanted pink and pale lime. As it turned out, this was the "Pink Dawn" I needed. (Other sellers have uploaded salmon-orange-pink here, and when I asked, I told myself it was dawn pink. It's not: it's a beautiful medium pastel pink.) There's also beautiful lavender, true purple, denim. blue (slightly darker than photos online). Too bad about white (and so many) and bright yellow that I don't need. The only one that came up was the emerald green and it looks like it was a used spool (not sure but I think it has less thread than the others). In general very satisfied. Ouch! And it was VERY DIFFICULT to find the beginning of the stream. I'm used to spools with a notch at the top and threaded inside and under the label. Not so with this one. I struggled to find the beginning, after a while I pulled the middle thread and untied it. I thought I would have to cut it in half but then it popped out. Made in Greece. I'm just amazed at the prices for cotton yarn spools: there are few threads, they should be $1.90 per spool (like other labels I've had in the past), but some sellers are charging over $4 and $5 each . Truly shameful in the forced 'unemployed' and 'unemployed' times of COVID.
