Biking and gardening

For years I've wished for better goggles for tasks like string trimming, chainsaws and chopping wood. I bought them for cycling. They're comfortable and so transparent I keep them in a ziplock bag to protect them from dirt and scratches. They do not impair peripheral vision. The hinges look strong. If I park my bike near the store, where can I leave my glasses? If I work outdoors with electronic devices, where can I safely place them? The manufacturer has provided holes for the cable. I cut the braided cord into a pair of earbuds, melted and twisted the ends into stiff ends, threaded through the holes and knotted. Now when I take off my glasses, they hang safely and comfortably in my shirt pocket. Also, I don't lose my earplugs.

Pros
  • Personal protective equipment
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes
