I looked at the reviews of this cassette converter and found that they are good and that it is easy to convert the cassette to USB without the need for a computer. So I decided to give it a try. When I got it in the mail I saw that it was scratched on the front of the recorder. I may have received a converter that another reviewer received and returned. Although it was scratched on the front, I decided to give it a try as I bought it to convert cassettes and not for looks. Aside from the fact that it was scratched and, as another reviewer said, cheaply made, I was skeptical of its work. Well I converted my first cassette and to my surprise it worked! The sound is pretty good like another reviewer said you convert tapes but it still sounds pretty darn good to me. I haven't tried auto mode yet, but I will with my next cassette. But overall I would recommend this for now if anyone is looking for a cheap and easy way to convert their cassette tapes to USB. I would also recommend handling it with care as the reviewer said if you drop it it could break into several pieces. Oh and the included ear tips are great too, they don't hurt or bother my ears like others.
