I've been wearing them for 14 years, my current shoes are 4 years old and I can kill a pair of Nikes in about 6 months. Please note that these shoes need to be fitted and acclimatized. I recommend finding a Zcoil store that will show you what your healing should look like on day one. You should wear them at least 5 hours for the first few days but no more than 8 hours if you heal fractures like mine in 2.5 years you can get a replacement for $50 and all shoes can take a closed rubber roller but they are not so adjustable, the boots are the best work boots i have ever had. I had a Red Wing shoe store that adds zippers on the $60 side and anyway how long do these shoes last, I always save money in the long run even if I buy expensive $400 shoes.
