The reason I gave it 3 stars is that not enough time has passed to measure actual long term effectiveness. I used this to patch a PVC drain pipe that had cracked. The pipe was in a place where pipe replacement was costly. I was able to use duct tape to patch the cracked area. Since it's been running for 2 weeks now with no issues, I'm optimistic that it will work well in the long term. If it survives a few heavy downpours (none so far) then I would give it a higher rating.
